Hello TYEers,
Hope all are doing well, had a good summer and having fun back in school !!
Wanted to reach out to you the TYE alumni on a couple of things
1) As some of you may be aware, TiECON 2013 is being held in Oct (26) and there is going to be separate session just on the TYE program. As part of the session, my plan is to proudly showcase you all as the graduates of last year’s class. Ideally I would like every one of you there but I will be happy with a good majority of you. I would like for each member/team to
(a) present your specific projects briefly
(b) describe your experience with the program (to encourage other prospective high schoolers that will be present in the audience to participate) . (Yes, a little ‘sales pitch’ if you will!)
2) This year’s program will be held in the months of Jan to March 2014. I would once again like the participation of as many of you as possible in various volunteer roles.
Please get back to me on both these two items as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.
I would also need a few of you to take the ‘lead’ in organizing for both these events.
